PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve knock detection accuracy of a knock detection device.SOLUTION: In a knock detection device, detection means 25 for detecting vibration of an engine 10 is provided on the engine 10 including a valve mechanism 19 of a cam structure with a roller having a cam lobe 18 and a roller 20 pivoted by it. Also, the knock detection device is provided with storage means 2 for storing a crank angle range in which a contact point of the cam structure with a follower member 16 moves from any one to the other of the roller 20 and the cam lobe 18. Furthermore, the knock detection device is provided with determination means 4 for determining knocking of the engine 10 on the basis of the magnitude of vibration detected by the detection means 25. The determination means 4 determines that the vibration detected by the detection means 25 is detected in the crank angle range as a condition for stopping determination of knocking. |
