PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus having a radio communication function capable of retrieving an optimum communication channel at a high speed.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus has a radio communication function capable of performing radio communication with an apparatus of the other party by setting an arbitrary communication channel among multiple radio communication channels. The imaging apparatus includes: radio transmission/reception means for transmitting/receiving data with the other party by radio; radio communication means for performing communication by radio with the other party; communication frequency control means for setting/releasing a communication channel in performing communication by radio; and human body detection means for detecting the way in which the imaging apparatus is held by a human body. The communication frequency control means controls a communication channel on the basis of relation between a human body and the imaging apparatus detected by the human body detection means. |
