PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container in which a commercially available liquid container body can be used as a liquid container body holding a memory device.SOLUTION: An ink container 1 (liquid container) includes an ink container body 2 (liquid container body) for storing an ink, a lid body 3 for being attached/detached to/from an ink gateway 2a formed in the ink container body 2, and a holding member 7 for holding a memory device 5 capable of storing electronic data. The holding member 7 is engaged with the ink container body 2 and the lid body 3 by positioning a part thereof between the ink container body 2 and the lid body 3. Since the memory device 5 is held by the holding member 7 and the holding member 7 is engaged with the ink container body 2 and the lid body 3, the memory device 5 can be supported by a commercially available ink container body 2 without arranging a special shape in the ink container body 2. Furthermore, the memory device 5 can be easily detached from the ink container body 2. |
