a first and a second electrode; a window layer containing sulfur in electrical association with the first electrode; and an absorber layer adjacent to the window layer and containing sulfur, at least a portion of which is from a sulfur containing layer other than the window layer, the absorber layer being in electrical association with the second electrode.
