The present invention comprises an energy/power generation system comprising at least two strings that are electrically connected in parallel, each string comprised of a plurality of energy generators electrically connected in series, each of the energy generators having a respective current-voltage characteristic; the energy/power generation system comprising an electronic system for energy collection comprising a power redistribution unit electrically connected to the plurality of electrically connected energy generators of a first string of said at least two strings, the power redistribution unit comprising a bus-connector and at least two electric coupling assemblies electrically connectable to the bus- connector, each of the electric coupling assemblies being associated with one or more of said energy generators of the first string and being configured and controllably operable to provide selective electrical coupling between said bus-connector and the at least two of said energy generators of said first string; wherein, the energy/power generation system comprises cables that electrically connect each of the energy connectors of the first string in parallel with the corresponding energy generators in each of the other of the strings, thereby enabling redistribution of power between all of said energy generators and optimizing energy collection therefrom. |
