A system for sequentially purifying waste water comprises an anaerobic tank, a polymer aeration tank, an anaerobic media tank, an aerotropic media tank, a settling tank, and a discharge tank, and has a structure in which the anaerobic tank is formed by four sequential stages, a first anaerobic tank and a fourth anaerobic tank having the same volume, a second anaerobic tank and a third anaerobic tank having a volume corresponding to 40% to 60% of the volume of the first anaerobic tank and the fourth anaerobic tank, the polymer aeration tank is formed by a first polymer aeration tank and a second polymer aeration tank, the waste water is purified sequentially through a first anaerobic media tank, a first aerotropic media tank, a second anaerobic media tank, a second aerotropic media tank, the settling tank, and the discharge tank, the first and second polymer aeration tanks and the first and second aerotropic media tank are aerated by air supplied from a blower, and clarification water is introduced from the fourth anaerobic tank to the first polymer aeration tank and from the first anaerobic media tank to the discharge tank by a drain pipe, wherein the height of the anaerobic tank corresponds to 130% to 170% of the heights of the polymer aeration tank, the anaerobic and aerotropic media tank, the settling tank, and the discharge tank.
