PRINTING APPARATUS HAVING RFID READ/WRITE FUNCTION AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

Provided are a printing apparatus having RFID read/write function and a control method thereof. The printing apparatus comprises: an inlet (31) for receiving a RFID medium; a printing unit (15) for printing on the surface of the RFID medium; a RFID read/write unit (17) for reading from/writing into the RFID medium; and a control unit (11) for accessing print data. When receiving the control command for starting printing, the control unit controls the printing unit (15) to start printing of the print data and controls the RFID read/write unit (17) to read from/write into the RFID medium. The printing apparatus solves the problem that the processing speed of the printing device having RFID read/write function on the RFID medium is low.
