PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make deformation due to horizontal earth pressure repressible.SOLUTION: The wall unit 1 has a unit contour in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped which has a prescribed unit width x and unit height z and is flat in a unit depth y direction, and integrally mounts an inner flange part 3 extending over the total length in the unit height z direction at a position along an inner surface of the unit, onto an outer flange part 2 which is disposed at a position along an outer surface of the unit and extends in the unit height z direction, through a web part 4. A rigid connection part 11 for being rigidly connected to a horizontal structural part of a water storage space formation block is installed at an area corresponding to top and bottom ends of the inner flange part 3. The inner flange part 3 whose top and bottom ends are rigidly connected to the water storage space formation block resists tensile stress over the total length in the unit height z direction so that the wall unit 1 is made to resist bending deformation of the wall unit 1 toward the inside of the tank due to horizontal earth pressure.
