PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery system comprising a plurality of batteries which is capable of contributing to prolongation of lives of the respective batteries and improvement of charge/discharge (energy) efficiency of the whole system.SOLUTION: A secondary battery system 10 comprises: a plurality of batteries 3-1 to 3-30 capable of being individually charged/discharged; a plurality of PCSs 2-1 to 2-30 which are connected correspondingly to the batteries respectively and charge/discharge the batteries; and a battery controller 1 for distributing a charge/discharge power value of the whole system to the respective PCSs 2-1 to 2-30 in a constant period or at arbitrary timing. The battery controller 1 comprises: a priority calculation unit for ranking the plurality of batteries 3-1 to 3-30 at each time point on the basis of deterioration characteristics on SOCs of the respective batteries 3-1 to 3-30; and a distribution ratio determination unit for distributing the charge/discharge power value to the PCSs 2-1 to 2-30 according to the priority ranking.
