PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector capable of improving accuracy in aligning an optical axis of an optical component for transmitting an optical signal with that of optical devices, thereby achieving high-accuracy optical axis.SOLUTION: An optical connector includes: a housing 2 into which a counterpart side optical connector is fit and on which an optical component 3 for transmitting an optical signal between the counterpart side optical connector and optical devices is provided; and an optical package 4, fixed to the housing 2, in which the optical devices are provided on a position thereof opposed to the optical component 3. Protrusions 24a and 24b of the housing 2 are fit into positioning holes 44a and 44b of the optical package 4, so that the housing 2 and the optical package 4 are positioned to each other. Also, a mounting position of the optical devices is set using the positioning holes 44a and 44b of the optical package 4 as a reference. |
