<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized printing apparatus capable of both-sided printing with high quality without any increase in size of the whole apparatus.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: a sheet feeder 2 for feeding sheets one by one; a printing cylinder 33 having at least three sets of printing cylinder nipping claw devices 33a-33c for nipping one end of the sheet fed from the sheet feeder 2 and holding it and support surfaces 33d-33f supporting the sheet, which transports the sheet by the printing cylinder nipping claw devices 33a-33c and the support surfaces 33d-33f; a digital printing part 34 for performing digital printing for the sheet transported by the printing cylinder 33; and reversing mechanisms 36, 37, 39, 31b for reversing the sheet from the printing cylinder 33 and again feeding the sheet to the printing cylinder 33. The digital printing part 34 and the reversing mechanisms 36, 37, 39, 31b are disposed in the periphery of the printing cylinder 33.</p> |
