Provided is a pneumatic tire which improves the heat-dissipating effect of the tread section thereof, while maintaining land-section durability. A pneumatic tire provided with a tread surface (1) that has a fine groove (10) formed therein, extending in a slanting direction in relation to the circumferential direction of the tire, and having a groove width (W1) which is smaller than the groove depth (D1) thereof, the pneumatic tire being characterized in that: one or more of the ends of the fine groove (10) terminate inside a land section; one or more of the groove-wall surfaces (10c) of the fine groove (10) that face the circumferential direction of the tire have an air-intake section (11) formed therein which opens to the tread surface; and the maximum depth (D1) of the fine groove (10) and the maximum depth (D2) of the air-intake section (11) satisfy 1≤D1/D2≤15. |
