Vibration device for influencing at least one reduced or absent body function of at least one body part of a human being or animal. The vibration device (1) is configured to have direct or indirect contact with at least one body part of a human being (12) or animal. The vibration device has at least one vibrator (13; 14; 15) and is configured to cause that the body part is subjected to vibration in order to simulate the bodily function. The vibrator(s) is/are controllable to deliver vibration of stochastic type with at least one frequency, at least one amplitude, and at least one defined vibration cycle as parameters, at least one of the parameters having a parameter value elected from one of: stochastic elected value and stochastic varying value.
