The engine condition inspection method using the generation or battery voltage of the engine for the vehicle and the waveform depending on the measured vacuum degree of the suction line by using an inspection apparatus 100 for the vehicle includes: a vacuum sensor and voltage measuring probe connection step (S1) in which a voltage measuring probe 110 for measuring a generation voltage of the engine is installed to connect the generation voltage to one channel of the inspection apparatus, and a suction line vacuum sensor for measuring a vacuum degree of the suction line of the engine is connected to the other channel of the inspection apparatus; an engine start failure setting step (S2) of setting the engine to a start failure state; a cranking step (S4) of cranking the engine; a signal waveform measuring step (S5) of measuring a waveform of each of a generation voltage signal and a vacuum degree signal of the suction line, which are measured in the cranking step (S4); a timing analysis step (S6) of determining an intersection point between the waveforms of the generation voltage signal and the vacuum degree signal of the suction line to determine a mismatch degree in timing of a cam shaft and a crank shaft; and a determined result display step (S9) of displaying the result determined in the timing analysis step (S6).
