摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device superior in high-temperature storage suitability, charge and discharge cycle characteristics, and safety in abnormal temperature rise; a method for manufacturing such an electrochemical device; and a separator which enables the construction of such an electrochemical device.SOLUTION: Provided are: a separator used for an electrochemical device having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a separator; and an electrochemical device having the separator integrated with one electrode thereof. The separator for an electrochemical device comprises: a resin porous layer (I) including a resin (A) having a melting point of 100-170°C as a primary component; a heat-resistant porous layer (II) including a filler (B) having a heatproof temperature of 150°C or higher as a primary component and an organic binder; and an adhesive resin (C) at least on one side of the separator. In the separator for an electrochemical device, the adhesive resin (C) develops its adhesiveness when being heated to a temperature lower than the melting point of the resin (A). In a plane where the adhesive resin (C) is present, the adhesive resin (C) accounts for 10-60% of the area thereof in plane view.
