PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device in which dispersion of mist during vacuous discharge thereof in the interior of a cap can be reduced more effectively.SOLUTION: In an image formation device, a spring 204 as an elastic member is provided between an absorption member 90 and an inner bottom part of a suction cap 82a, the absorption member 90 is movably arranged in such a manner that the member 90 is energized towards a nipping part side of the suction cap 82a, and on a face of the absorption member 90 facing a nozzle face 134a, a projection 208 is provided at a position such that the projection 208 does not interfere with a nozzle on the nozzle face 134a. When vacuous discharge operation is performed, the absorption member 90 is positioned near a nipping part of the suction cap 82a, and when cleaning operation is performed, the absorption member 90 is pushed into the suction cap 82a so as to be separated from the nipping part. |
