PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polycarbonate resin, in which the obtained polycarbonate resin has constant copolymer composition and an excellent color tone and at the polycarbonate resin production step of which the handling suitability of a dihydroxy compound having a fluorene group is improved drastically.SOLUTION: The method for producing the polycarbonate resin comprises the step of producing the polycarbonate resin by a melt polycondensation reaction of dihydroxy compounds, which contain the dihydroxy compound having the fluorene group at the least, with a carbonate diester. The dihydroxy compound having the fluorene group contains 3,500-4,800 mass ppm of an organic compound which is a liquid at 25°C. |
