PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling apparatus capable of recycling paper to saccharides in a shorter time.SOLUTION: A recycling apparatus comprises: a pulverizer 9 being a pulverizing means to pulverize paper so that one cellulose fiber is cut to a plurality of fiber pieces by finely cutting the cellulose fiber of the paper in a longitudinal direction; a mixture storage tank 7 to store a mixture of the paper pulverized by the pulverizer 9, a solvent and a cellulase mixture; and an agitation means (pulverizer 9) to obtain saccharides accelerating the hydrolysis of cellulose in the pulverized paper by agitating the mixture in the mixture storage tank 7. Consequently, paper is saccharified in a shorter time by more finely cutting the cellulose fiber of the paper compared with a conventional disintegrator and the like.
