[Problem] To provide both a reception apparatus in a wireless communication system and a channel estimation control method wherein the delay in channel estimation and the error rate of decoded channel information can be improved. [Solution] In a wireless communication system using a first reference signal with which no control information signal has been multiplexed and a second reference signal with which a control information signal has been multiplexed, a receiver (200) comprises: an A/N detection selection unit (211) that selects either using, for channel estimation, both of the first and second reference signals or using, for channel estimation, only the first reference signal; and a channel estimation unit (209) that performs the channel estimation by use of the selected reference signal(s). |
