<p>The present disclosure relates to a product dispensing machine (10) and a respective method for distributing products by means of the dispensing machine (10). The dispensing machine (10) includes one or more shelves or support surfaces (15a, 15b, 15c) and, for each shelf (15a, 15b, 15c), a plurality of adjacent cells (16a, 16b, 16c), and a collection surface (17) which collects the products (20a, 20b, 20c) to be dispensed. The product to be dispensed (20a, 20b, 20c) is arranged on one of the shelves (15a, 15b, 15c) and in one of the cells (16a, 16b, 16c) with an arrangement of products which, when viewed from a front area of the supporting frame (12), is a matrix arrangement with rows (X) and columns (Y). A first movement device (250 moves the collection surface (17) in a row direction (X) and a second movement device (38) moves said collection surface in a column direction (Y) so as to reach said one or more shelves (15a, 15b, 15c). A first movement command is sent to the second movement device (38) depending on the row position (X1, X2) of a first product (20a, 20b, 20c) to be dispensed, so as to displace the collection surface (17) towards the first product (20a), and a second command is sent to the first movement device (25) depending on the column position (Y1, Y2) of a second product (20b) to be dispensed, so as to displace the collection surface (17) together with the first product (20a) and move the first product (20a) away from a column position (Y1, Y2) of the second product (20b).</p> |
