<p>The invention provides a fishing rod holder specific for mounting on a vertical pole or post. Typical application is for mounting on common dock posts of cottage and marine docks but the application can be extended to any suitable pole or post configuration. The fishing rod holder consists of a primary tube slot to go over the post and one or more tubes attached to hold the fishing rod handles. The fishing rod holder is mounted by placing over the post and securing to the post at the desired height using a friction fit method, such as thumb screws, that does not required tools and can be portable or semi-permanent.</p> |
