Film preparation containing loperamide hydrochloride

Disclosed is a film preparation which is characterized by comprising: a drug-containing intermediate layer comprising loperamide hydrochloride, a terpene and a film-forming agent; and coating layers each comprising a film-forming agent and a plasticizer (containing no terpene) and laminated on both surfaces of the drug-containing intermediate layer. In the film preparation, the bitterness derived from loperamide hydrochloride is masked.  Therefore, unpleasant sensation produced upon the intake of the film preparation can be reduced.  Further, the film preparation can be dissolved rapidly only with a fluid in an oral cavity (i.e., has a rapidly dissolving property).  Therefore, the film preparation is fast-acting and has superior portability.
