PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine control device capable of preventing generation of torque of a polarity different from that of a command due to an initial error for each device caused by combination of an AC rotary electric machine and a rotation position detection device when a storing value is abnormal.SOLUTION: A controller of an ECU (a rotary electric machine control device) controlling drive of a motor, comprises: a rotation position calculation part 46 correcting a detection signal of a rotation position sensor by using a storage value unique for each device to calculate a sensor angle &thetas;s; and a storage value abnormality determination part 47 determining whether or not the storage value is normal. When the storage value is abnormal, the rotation position calculation part 46 corrects the detection signal of the rotation position sensor by using a default value whose difference from the storage value is restricted in a predetermined range, instead of the storage value. The current command value calculation part 30, by setting a d-axis current command value Idto zero and fixing the current command phase to 90[°], keeps the current command phase away from 0[°] and 180[°] that are current phases at which the positive and negative of a torque are reversed, at the maximum to secure a large allowable range. |
