<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commercial message sound distribution system capable of improving advertising effects by distributing advertisement data to a called side portable terminal.SOLUTION: A CM sound distribution server 1 receives the classification identification information of a CM sound to be distributed to a called side portable terminal 2 from the called side portable terminal 2, and registers it in association with the called side portable terminal ID of the called side portable terminal 2. Also, the CM sound distribution server 1 obtains a classification identification number registered in association with the ID of the called side portable terminal 2 on the basis of the detection of a calling signal from a calling side portable terminal 4 to the called side portable terminal 2, and selects one CM sound from one or more CM sounds belonging to the classification indicated by the classification identification number. Then, the CM sound distribution server 1 adds the number of the selected CM sound to the calling signal transmitted from the calling side portable terminal 4, and transmits it to the called side portable terminal 2.
