<p>Provided is a light emitting tube array configured by disposing parallel to each other a plurality of light emitting tubes, wherein sufficient luminance can be obtained without inviting a rise in drive voltage even if the light emitting tubes are made high resolution. Provided are the following: a plurality of light emitting tubes (31) arranged so as to be disposed parallel to each other; a first electrode group that extends in a direction that traverses the light emitting tubes (31); and a second electrode group disposed along the longitudinal direction of the light emitting tubes (31). The light emitting tubes (31) have a substantially flat quadrangle transverse-cross section. The first electrode group is disposed so as to be in contact with one flat surface of each of the light emitting tubes (31). The second electrode group is disposed so as to be in contact with a lateral flat surface adjacent to one flat surface of each of the light emitting tubes (31). An address discharge is generated at a corner of adjacent flat surfaces.</p> |
