PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease size and width while ensuring required pump performance, in a two-stage type oil pump.SOLUTION: The oil pump includes: a first pump unit 70 composed of a first inner rotor 71 rotating about an axis S and a first outer rotor 72 rotating about a first rotation center line S1; a second pump unit 80 composed of a second inner rotor 81 rotating about the axis S and a second outer rotor 82 rotating about a second rotation center line S2; and a communication path 44f and the like for guiding oil from one side to the other side between the first pump unit and the second pump unit. The second rotation center line S2 of the second outer rotor is provided at a position biased about the axis S by a predetermined angle &thetas; from a straight line L1 orthogonal to the axis S and the first rotation center line S1 of the first outer rotor. Therefore, while required discharging performance is ensured, width and size can be decreased. |
