PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closer which can easily adjust a spring force of a recovery spring.SOLUTION: A piston 2 is moved to a first oil chamber 15 side at a door opening operation, and moved to a second oil chamber 16 side at a door closing operation. A recovery spring 50 is positioned on the same line of the piston 2, and interposed between a fixable-side spring receiving seat near a main shaft 3 and a movable-side spring receiving seat remote from the main shaft 3. Since the movable-side spring receiving seat is moved so as to approximate the fixable-side spring receiving seat, the recovery spring 40 is compressed, and a closing force is accumulated. A spring receiving member 40 having the fixable-side spring receiving seat is constituted so as to be changeable in a position to the axial direction of the piston 2 with respect to a main body housing 1, and a spring force adjustment mechanism is arranged which adjusts a spring force of the recovery spring 40 by changing a position of the spring receiving member 40 by an operation from the outside of the main body housing 1. |
