PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin layer and a composite material each having a high flexibility and capable of easily forming a curvy surface; and a monomer and a coating liquid usable for manufacturing both.SOLUTION: The provided monomer possesses a Diels-Alder reaction site and at least one acryloyl group and is polymerizable via the acryloyl group. A coating liquid including the monomer and a solvent is also provided. A resin layer consisting of a polymer including the monomer is also provided. A composite material including a substrate and the resin layer formed on the surface thereof is also provided. A maleimide ring and a furan ring may, for example, have been added to the Diels-Alder reaction site.
