PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot control system capable of staying a robot 14 in standby in an unhindering place of surrounding persons.SOLUTION: A robot control system 100 includes a central controller 10 for storing a moving locus of persons of coming and going in a space and a robot 14 for helping a user of shopping in the space. In the space, a shop for shopping by the user and a coming and going passage of the persons are included. The central controller 10 calculates a passing quantity and a perspective degree of the persons, and makes a hindrance degree map of indicating a hindrance to a third person, and the robot 14 makes a standby place candidate map from the hindrance degree map by taking into consideration a size of itself, and the robot 14 moves to a retrieved standby place by retrieving the standby place from the standby place candidate map when standby is indicated to the robot 14 from the user. |
