PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which detects a ghost even in a case of continuously acquiring images, and accurately executes automatic focus control, automatic exposure control and automatic white balance control even when the ghost occurs.SOLUTION: In an imaging device, when there does not exist any difference in a finite difference of signal quantity (step S12 is No), and there exists a difference in the finite difference of signal quantity (step S12 is Yes) and the finite difference is less than a fixed value (step S14 is No), phase difference AF processing is executed on the basis of the signals of AF areas in two images (step S18). When the finite difference is a fixed value or more (step S14 is Yes), a CPU 40 determines that an image of the signal quantity in an AF area is smaller as an object image of AF, and inputs it to an AF processing part 42. The AF processing part 42 executes contrast AF processing on the basis of image data in the AF area in the object image of AF (step S16).
