<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing semiconductor particles by which semiconductor particles having an average particle diameter of a nanometer order and exhibiting excellent photo-electrochemical characteristics can be manufactured, and to provide semiconductor particles having an average particle diameter of a nanometer order and exhibiting excellent photo-electrochemical characteristics.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of manufacturing semiconductor particles having a crystal structure configured by atoms of at least a Group-11 element, a Group-15 element, and a Group-16 element in the periodic table. The method of manufacturing semiconductor particles includes a step of obtaining semiconductor particles by mixing a liquid mixture A that contains a simple substance or compound containing the Group-11 element in the periodic table, a simple substance or compound containing the Group-15 element in the periodic table, and a lipophilic solvent, and a liquid mixture B that contains a simple substance or compound containing the Group-16 element in the periodic table, and a lipophilic solvent, while heating them.</p> |
