<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a control method and a program capable of selecting an installation method suited for a use environment.SOLUTION: An information processing device 1 comprises setting means for accepting the setting of location information as a network environment. The information processing device 1 further comprises selection means for, when the location information accepted by the setting means shows a first location, selecting an automatic installation method for installing a device driver of an image formation device on the basis of the fact that the image formation device and the information processing device can communicate with each other and, when the location information accepted by the setting means shows a second location which is different from the first location, selecting a manual installation method for installing the device driver by a method different from the automatic installation method.</p> |
