<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding observation device which can ensure dimming performance regardless of not forming an image on a photochromic filter (PCF) and defocus from a position on a photochromic filter (PCF) to satisfactorily monitor a welding state by using a telecentric optical system and partial dimming by the photochromic filter (PCF), in an optical system which filters arc discharge light to confirm the welding state under welding arc discharge.SOLUTION: A welding observation device includes: an arc welding part 8; an objective optical system (1,2) for condensing light from the arc welding part 8; a telecentric optical system 3 for guiding the light condensed by the objective optical system (1,2); a PCF 4 irradiated with the light guided by the telecentric optical system 3; and a solid imaging unit 9 for receiving the light transmitted through the PCF 4. The light from the arc welding part 8 is partially reduced by the PCF 4.</p> |
