1. A method of treating a damaged area on the skin, comprising the steps of
applying a copper ion treatment on the damaged area of skin such that copper ions from the copper ion treatment contact the damaged area of the skin and bring about therapeutic effects; and repeating said step of applying every four hours until the damaged area has healed.
