[Problem] To provide a cleaning web which shows little orientation or fuzzing, has a high heatproof temperature, can achieve preset cleaning characteristics and enables further improvement in wiping performance, oil-less composition, film thinning and lightening. [Solution] A web for cleaning the surface of a member to be cleaned, said web being a melt blow nonwoven fabric which contains as the main component a molten liquid crystal-forming wholly aromatic polyester having a melt viscosity of 20 Pa·s or below at 310°C, comprises substantially continuous filaments, and is characterized by satisfying requirements (1) to (5): (1) the average fiber diameter being 0.1-15 μm inclusive; (2) the thickness being 5-40 μm inclusive; (3) the average basis weight being 0.5-9 g/m2 inclusive; (4) the number of filmy matters in the nonwoven fabric being less than 2/mm2; and (5) the lengthwise breaking length being 10 km or longer, and the widthwise breaking length being 6 km or longer.
