Provided is a pneumatic tire which improves the heat-dissipating effect of the tread section thereof, while maintaining land-section durability. A pneumatic tire provided with a tread surface (1) that has a fine groove (9) formed therein, extending in a slanting direction in relation to the circumferential direction of the tire, and having a groove width (W1) which is smaller than the groove depth (D1) thereof, the pneumatic tire being characterized in that: both ends of the fine groove (9) open outside a land section; one or more of the groove-wall surfaces (9c) of the fine groove (9) that face the circumferential direction of the tire have an air-intake section (10) formed therein which opens to the tread surface; and the maximum depth (D1) of the fine groove (9) and the maximum depth (D2) of the air-intake section (10) satisfy 5<D1/D2≤15. |
