PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for rotary forging capable of preventing generation of passive damage.SOLUTION: A mold 1 for rotary forging comprises: a disk shape base part 6; and a plurality of f pressing surfaces 2 radially arranged from the center of the base part 6 to its radial direction on the work surface side of the base part 6. The mold 1 for rotary forging comprises a part constituting a pressing surfaces 2 for forging a forging object material and a part to be non pressing surface 3 on which the forging object material is not forged. On the pressing surfaces 2, a flat part 5 and a taper part 4 which continuously extends to the flat part 5 and has 45° or less of inclination are formed. The mold for rotary forging is suitable for hot forging. |
