PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that allows a light metering time and an exposure computing time to be shortened.SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 according to the present invention comprises: an imaging section 12 that meters subject light to be incident in a plurality of light metering modes, and can photograph a still image composed of the subject light; an exposure measurement section 11 that performs an exposure computation in the imaging section 12 on the basis of a light metering result of one light metering mode of the plurality of light metering modes in the imaging section 12; and a display section 14 that performs a through-image display of the subject light incident upon the imaging section 12. In accordance with whether a first light metering mode for use in performing the through-image display on the display section 14 in a stand-by state prior to photographing of the still image and a second light metering mode determining an exposure upon photographing the still image match or not, a time required for the exposure computation or the number of exposure computations in the exposure computation section 11 is changed. |
