BUSINESS SOLUTION USER INTERFACE ENABLING INTERACTION WITH REPORTS

Technologies are generally described for providing an interactive user interface for enabling users to interact with reports and other documents associated with an entity on various client devices and to effectively manage business activities from their client device. The business application user interface may enable a user to access work documents on a client device over a network, and to interact with the documents on the client device. The user interface may display reduced thumbnail versions of available reports, select and view them based on one or more roles. The user interface may adapt how a report is displayed in a full size based on the type of device on which the user views the report.

1. A method to be executed at least in part in a computing device for providing a business solution user interface that enables interaction with reports, the method comprising:
displaying a plurality of available roles in a tile format; upon receiving a selection of one or more roles, displaying representations of a plurality of available reports associated with the selected roles; upon receiving a selection of a report representation, displaying a selected report in full view; enabling interaction with the displayed report through at least one of touch and gesture input, wherein additional reports are made available directly through one or more controls on the user interface; and enabling viewing of available reports based on access privileges and adding of new individual reports.
