a stationary structure positioned in a body of water; a watercraft adjacent the stationary structure; and a protective member encircling the stationary structure, the protective member disposed between the stationary structure and the watercraft, in which the protective member is buoyed by the body of water, and wherein the protective member is formed from a polymer.
