Provided is a pneumatic tire in which the rigidity of land parts is guaranteed and the heat radiation effect of tread parts is improved. The pneumatic tire is characterized in that: in a tread surface (1), thin grooves (10) are formed that extend in a direction inclined relative to the tire circumference direction and that are smaller in groove width (W1) than groove depth (D1); at least one end (10a) of each thin groove (10) ends in a land part, air inlets (11) opening in the tread surface (1) are formed in at least one of two groove wall faces (10c) opposing each other in the tire circumference direction of the thin grooves (10), and the air inlets (11) are disposed in the ending parts where the thin grooves (10) end in the land parts; and in an expanded plan view of the tread surface, the angle XOY is an acute angle, where point O is the intersection between the width center line of an air inlet (11) and the groove width center line of a thin groove (10), point X is the ending point of the air inlet (11) positioned on the width center line of the air inlet (11), and point Y is the length center point of the thin groove (10) positioned on the groove width center line of the thin groove. |
