A system and a method for collecting and assessing temperature data is predictive of biological events. A combination of sensors identified with individual animals of a herd, a receiver, a base station and a processor that calculates variations or patterns of sensor data that reach thresholds and generate alerts. The assessment may include filters, such as water effect filters, and they may correlate diurnal cycles or circadian rhythms of the animal with the animal data records. |
