An apparatus and a method for analyzing gas in insulating oil are provided to measure the density of various gases by using semiconductor sensors. An apparatus for analyzing gas in insulating oil includes a gas extractor(3), a gas detector(15), a test gas supplying system(18E), a reference gas supplying system, a transformation supplying system, and a calculation unit. The gas extractor extracts insulating oil from an apparatus. The gas detector is provided with a plurality of semiconductor sensors to detect the densities of components of the insulating oil from the gas extractor. The test gas supplying system supplies test gas to the gas detector. The reference gas supplying system supplies reference gas to the gas detector, in which the reference gas is the reference of the detection value of the semiconductor sensors. The transformation supplying system changes the supplying system of the test gas and the supplying system of the reference bas to supply gas to the gas detector. The calculation unit calculates the density of plural gas components dissolved in the insulating oil based on the detection value of the semiconductor sensors. |
