PURPOSE: A word learning method is provided to improve an interest in learning and the memorizing efficiency by using images, tests, and sounds suited to words. CONSTITUTION: A word learning method comprises the steps of: displaying an animation, an original word and meaning, and an example sentence suited to the meaning of a word in order; blanking out a part of a spelling of the original word to allow learners to study the word; storing wrong words and time-out words in a note of the wrong answers after the test and requesting the relearning of the word if a percentage of correct answers is less than a predetermined value; and arranging the meaning of the words stored in the note of the wrong answers with the meaning of the original in parallel, displaying the words and the original, and reproducing a corresponding sound source when the learner touches the original.
