The present invention relates to a valve used for a cooking pot when food is cooked, which enables a constant inner pressure of a grip formed on a lid for opening the cooking pot to be kept and induces vacuum inside the cooking pot after cooking.The valve can be manufactured as an assembly structure, leading to sanitary use with ease of washing by preventing foreign materials from being jammed. To this end, the pot lid is composed of a grip installed in the upper part of through holes of the lid; a lower body with a ventilation path which is connected to the grip and installed in the lower part of the through holes of the lid; a packing installed on the ventilation path of the lower body; a valve body which is installed in the upper part of the packing to open the ventilation path; a hollow part which is horizontally and vertically penetrated to receive the lower body and the valve; a grip which has an open hole which discharges steam by exposing the upper end of the valve axis.
