<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the maximum lateral force of an outside rail wheel of the two axle truck for a railway vehicle in the curve passage, and prevent the deterioration of safety more than a conventional truck in the inside rail wheel.SOLUTION: A single shaft steering truck is provided for steering only a wheel set at the rear side in the traveling direction of the two axle truck. A steering amount incremental rate with respect to a theoretical amount of steering in the case where an amount of steering represented byβ/{sin(a sinα/L)}×100 of a steering gear for steering the wheel set in the curve passage (βis a steering angle of the wheel set, (a) is a wheel base,αis a bogie angle (relative angle between the truck and the vehicle body in the curve), and L is a center distance between trucks) is 100% is adjusted in a range of -14% or more and 44% or less. In the single shaft steering truck for railroad steering only the rear axle, the lateral force acting on the outside rail wheel in the curve running is reduced and the occurrence of derailment possibility of the inside rail wheel can be avoided, and thereby the safety in the curve passage is improved.</p> |
