PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure necessary rigidity and strength, and to reduce vehicle body weight.SOLUTION: A rear pillar 14 is formed of a rear pillar outer 26 and a rear pillar inner 28. The rear pillar inner 28 has a rear pillar inner lower 32 and a rear pillar inner upper, the rear pillar inner lower 32 has a lower swollen part 40, and the rear pillar inner upper has an upper front wall. A first closed cross section part 42 formed by bonding the rear pillar outer 26 and the lower swollen part 40, a lap part where an upper end of the rear pillar inner lower 32 and a lower end of the rear pillar inner upper are overlapped by overlapping the rear pillar inner upper from the front side and the vehicle width central side with respect to the rear pillar inner lower 32, and a second closed cross section part disposed between the lower swollen part 40 and the upper front wall in the lap part, are provided in the rear pillar 14.
