Systems, methods, and computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that provide updates to localized software are provided. Resources are stored on a server device and may be cached or stored locally at a client device. Updates to the resources are made available at the server device. The updates include translations of the resources to several languages. The client device checks for an update of the resource and downloads the update for the server when the application is launched or downloaded by a computing device.

1. A computer-implemented method for updating localization resources for an application available at a network cloud-based application store, the method comprising:
storing an application and several localization resources associated with different languages for rendering application content; updating the content of one or more of the localization resources to reflect a change in the content; receiving an indication that the application associated with the content updates is launched or downloaded on a client device; and providing the updated content from the network cloud having the cloud-based application store to the client device.
