Exemplary embodiments provide methods, mediums, and systems for generating and applying an electronic identity. The electronic identity may allow an individual's electronic or online presence to be secured and verified, thereby providing increased levels of trust in the identity of the individual. The electronic identity may correlate data from multiple different sources, including social networks, career websites, online marketplaces, financial institutions, and the individual. Based on the amount of data that can be verified or correlated with other data, a trust score may be assigned to the electronic identity. The electronic identity may be used to verify an individual's identity for various purposes, such as obtaining a financial account, obtaining identification, performing transactions, and social interactions.

1. A computer-implemented method of calculating an electronic identity, the method comprising:
receiving a request to create a profile of a subscriber; obtaining information from the subscriber; supplementing the obtained information with additional information obtained from a plurality of different sources, the additional information pertaining to a plurality of different categories of information of the subscriber; storing the obtained information and the additional information together in a storage medium to create an electronic identity structure; and correlating the obtained information and the additional information to determine a trustworthiness of the electronic identity structure.
