Therapeutic agent delivery formulations for the sustained release of therapeutic agents from a Port Delivery System (PDS) implant is described in this application.

A therapeutic agent delivery system comprising a therapeutic device having a reservoir chamber coupled to a porous structure for controlled release of a therapeutic agent in the vitreous of the eye and a formulation comprising a therapeutic agent and one or more formulation agents, wherein the formulation is contained in the reservoir of the therapeutic device; and the controlled release of the therapeutic agent and formulation agents from the reservoir through the porous structure increases the half-life of the therapeutic agent in the vitreous.
